This Business Development Manager is Vrobal’s key representative based in Taiwan.
Leadership • Supporting the regional Vrobal team effort in Taiwan • Vrobal’s spokesperson and informed expert on business opportunities in the region • Regular reporting of key performance measures and strategic market developments to the Business Development Executive and/or The Chief Operating Officer and liaising with the Head Office in Singapore.
Business Development • Manage solutions to meet business and market needs • Ensure a thorough understanding of customer value propositions, business models, capabilities, and market needs • Responsible for scanning market environments and providing quantitative and qualitative research which delivers business intelligence • Provide strategic advice and insight based on market research • Produce reports and presentations to the Head Office in Singapore as required • Challenge conventional thinking and provide original and innovative insight as required • Establish, network, nurture and maintain relationships to increase market awareness of the company and our services. • Using your knowledge of the metal and resources industry to identify new solutions that may be of interest to the market. • Develop, maintain and update a register of leads and proposals for all opportunities identified. • Continually seek and develop new methods for improving business techniques and processes. • Ensure that all company standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.

In this position successful delivery will utilise a range of your skills and experience.
• Commercial business related experience preferably in the private sector • Highly networked individual with valuable contacts relevant to Taiwanese export development, business and shipping sector laws and local environmental ministry • At least 5 years of business development experience. • Experience of leading a team of at least 5 employees. • Excellent leadership skills. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. • Fluent Taiwanese and English. • Account management experience which required building and maintaining lasting relationships with high value customers with proven results in customer satisfaction • Tertiary qualification in related field supplemented with professional training and potentially post graduate education • Strong knowledge and understanding of the local business environment and economic issues and trends • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
High computer literacy with competence using the Microsoft Office suite and experience using Customer Relationship Management software or equivalent tools
